This Privacy Policy explains how Nails by Brook (nailsbybrook.com), an in-person nail artist in Massachusetts, collects, uses and protects your information.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address and mobile phone number.
- Booking details: service, date and time, notes, and any inspiration photos you upload (location data is removed from photos).
- Account details if you create an account: email (your username), a hashed password, verification status, appointment history, saved designs and reward points.
- Your SMS consent choice, with the date and wording you agreed to.
- Basic technical data needed to run and secure the site (for example IP address and browser type in security logs).
How we use your information
- To schedule, confirm, remind you about and manage your appointments.
- To send one-time verification codes when you create an account.
- To send appointment text messages only if you opted in, and emails you asked for.
- To quote and plan your nail design, answer your questions, and keep the site secure.
SMS / text messaging
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Mobile numbers and consent are used only to send the messages described in our SMS Terms. Text messages are delivered through our messaging provider (Twilio) solely to provide this service. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help run the site (hosting, email delivery, text message delivery, payment processing), and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law. We never sell your personal information.
Security and retention
Personal data is stored encrypted on our own server and kept only as long as needed (design photos for up to 12 months). You can delete your account at any time.
