How to measure your nails
  1. Use a soft tape measure or a strip of paper across the widest part of each nail.
  2. Measure in millimetres (mm). If you use paper, mark the width and hold it against a ruler.
  3. Measure both hands — nails aren't always the same on each side.
  4. Round to the nearest 0.5 mm. When in doubt, size up slightly.

Press-on care & wear

  1. Start with clean, dry, oil-free nails — push back cuticles and lightly buff the shine off.
  2. Match each tip to the right nail before you stick anything down.
  3. For a few days' wear use the adhesive tabs; for up to 1–2 weeks use a thin layer of nail glue.
  4. Press each tip from cuticle to tip and hold firmly for 20–30 seconds.
  5. Avoid very hot water and long soaking for the first hour so the bond can set.

Removal & reapplication

  1. Soak your hands in warm soapy water (add a little oil) for 10–15 minutes — never force or pry a tip off.
  2. Gently wiggle each tip loose from the sides; if it resists, soak a little longer.
  3. Peel any leftover glue off the tip gently, then wipe the inside with a little acetone and let it dry.
  4. Buff the back lightly so it's smooth, and store the set flat in its box.
  5. Reapply with fresh tabs or a thin layer of glue. With care, a set can be worn several times.
